"Our check in & stay was great! This was a trip for my best friend & I. We felt very safe & really enjoyed the firepit in the evenings. Communication from property mgmt was exceptional. The cottage is so cute, however, the stairs up to get coffee & access fridge were a little sketchy (steep & narrow). It would be great if there was a mini fridge (and coffee pot) in the downstairs bedroom, as when we were sitting outside by the fire, we had to go up & down the stairs to refill our drinks each...

"Nice clean older house with charm. Great quiet peaceful location near Blanco River and State Park. The tree house and watching deer were nice perks. Fire pit would have been nice if the county didn’t have the burn ban on. Owner’s would have been available if needed. The location was within an hour drive to many activities. Enchanted Rock, Natural Bridge Cavern, Lukenbach, San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Antiquing and Wineries to name a few. "

"Stayed 2 nights at this historic property. It was such an amazing experience to be in Teddy Roosevelt's private train car and there were many little details scattered throughout. Having 2 restrooms was nice. Definitely a must for a very unique place to stay in Fredricksburg, TX."
